This is a novel way of packaging food for work, etc. It is always a challenge to come up with something different when you need to carry a lunch. I would not have thought of some of these. I intend to try them even if I just juse them at home for a quick meal. Worth the money and time.Product details

Food in Jars From Jellies to Jams and Lunches to Desserts Preserving Food Recipes Book 1 edition by Martha Stone Cookbooks Food Wine eBooks Reviews
Very informative!
I've been a home canner for years but never thought about doing this kind of stuff!!
The recipes are interesting, varied and pretty easy!
Only one suggestion...they say 'jars' but no specification as to whether it's a pint or quart size to be used. My own thought is pints, and probably wide-mouth to make filling and removal easier.
Shame on me, I got this & didn't look at it right away...lol, have sooooo many good books to read!! But I'm going to be using alot of these recipes very soon!!
I found this book to contain some quite handy and helpful ideas and recipes. I would recommend it to my friends
AWESOME IDEAS
I am really excited about the recipes in this book. I saw a lot of great ones to make for my husband's lunches that he would love. The only problem is that most of them were missing the jar size which makes it very difficult to get use the recipes. The only ones with jar sizes were the jams which don't really need to be in specific size jars.
Love canning books and am constantly on the look out for new recipes. Thank!
Not enough variety but what is there is decent.
